UDF for counter bores

Is there anywhere to download some standard user defined features for common features like counter bores? I'm tired of looking up what size of a counter bore I need to make for different screw sizes.

Or should I be doing this with map keys?

you could definatley do this using multiple hole files

UNC_CB.hol for standard SHCAP screws

UNC_CBL. hol for low SHACP screws

etc

In each files set the CB dimensions and associated note you want for each screw size.

This should be handled in the standard hole files for clearance holes.

I don't use them but that should be possible.

This would work for standard SHCS but I don't see any option for selecting a size for a low head cap screw or a button head.

Yep, what ^ (Bill) said.

Ok. I think I understand. I need to copy one of the existing .hol files and start editing the values in it. Then select that file name when creating the feature.

Thanks for the help again.
