Only the Ideas section gets forwarded to PTC development. And most of those "seem" to be ignored... AND you have to have maintenance to present Ideas.
Above all, PTC is taking care of needs for big customers. They are busy developing extensions that can make them more money and save their cash cows time savings. Problems or upgrades to the core is a loosing proposition.
But they do need your maintenance $ to be sure to fund those extension module developments... not that you will ever get anything from them.
Of course, I could be wrong and they have a ball laughing at us during break 
... you know 9:00-11:30 and again from 1:30-3:45.
In all seriousness; most companies do not respond to web forums for the simple reason Frank alludes to; it really is unproductive and typically ends up doing more harm than good.
