It is better to buy a commercial version

The software is technically the same.

PTC does modify all printouts with a watermark saying it was created on an educational version.

You cannot use the educational version for commercial work.

The files cannot be opened in the commercial version.

Commercial version files cannot be opened in the educational version.

Ram,

You have a license problem. The system recognize your software as the commercial version and is trying to retrieve the name and code for that. What you have to do is change your license type.

To do this, post the same question or send an email (better the email) to the Creo Academic Support.  Then, they will send you a file that you can use if you "reinstall" the software, that file in fact, is the Student License. Let me know if you solved the problem.
