mass does not update

mass does not update

amount=pro_mp_mass relation does not update.

Mass properties report lists 17.34 lbs, amount param shows 34 lbs

material =  steel

Hi,

to re-compute mass properties, click File > Prepare > Model Properties > change (in Mass Properties row) > Calculate (in Mass Properties dialog box).

You need to calculate the MP from the File-Prepare material menu, then regen to update the parameter.

This was discussed last week.

Yes the intructions work. the bad news is that if you have parts in a family table you have to open and repeat this for each one!!!!!

No you don't. Open the generic and add a pro_mp_mass column (or your parameter that is set to pro_mp_mass) to the FT, then verify the FT and all of the weights are updated. Checkout the generic and all instances and check them back in.

Hi,

I uploaded test model created in CR2 M070. It contains parameter W included in family table and driven by Post Regeneration relation W=pro_mp_mass.
