Not sure what you mean; if you mean a spline curve, the spline will be commanded by centerpoints in the sketch. You can add dimension to it to make the spline different shaped. The spline tool is just 2 arcs that are tangent, every centerpoint adds an arc, and so changing the appearence.
I believe the rule for curve fitting is that n points can be fit by an n-1 order curve. I would assume Pro/E follows this rule... but you never know! That is for 2-D though. Not sure if it applies to 3D.
Thanks Greenberg for the response. You mean say if I use 15 points to fit a spline, the spline order will be 14. Its bit confusing because what if I use say 25 points or more?
