silhouette curve W3

Proe Users,

How do you create a silhouette curve in W3. Stand on your head hold shift
while left clicking or something?

First, you need a mold design extension, or similar. Maybe AAX. We use TDO (Tool Design Option)

Then, in part mode select Applications | Mold/Casting

Then select Insert | Silhouette Edge...

Not true, it's integrated in the surface trim tool. You need a surface
copy first, then a plane for direction. That linked article sums it up,
although you don't need the datum plane they create in the first step,
at least in my experience. I think that was used more for placing the
rib than for creating the silhouette edge.
