Hi, When creating a new file, below the "New" file name, just uncheck the box of use default template. Then, it displays a dialog box, on which u need to create a new file. Regards, Balaji.M
1. Click Tools > Options 2. On the Option field write template_solidpart 3. Click Browse and browse to the templates folder on your Pro/E install dir 4. Choose one of the available templates (for example, mmns_part_solid.prt is in mm) You can specify templates for: - Solid parts with option template_solidpart - Assemblies with option template_designasm - Sheetmetal with option template_sheetmetalpart - etc... You may also create your own template and use it with the above options and all new files you create will be based on those templates. Best regards
If you already have the part created change the units under Edit> Setup>Units. Select the unit system you want and when you select Set ProE will give a dialog box that allows you to convert or interpret units.
