Don't know if this is in Creo 4 yet, but here goes:
We will need a print setup tool that will help a user section a part for efficient 3D printing.
Many printers are now soluble support based "freeform" printers. That is not the specific purpose of this (maybe something more than this)
There still a huge world of filament printers that would benefit from a comprehensive build plate setup tool.
I am proposing that say, a wheel, for example, needs to be split at the hub and may be lain side by side by flipping the second half and offsetting it.
One might need to section a large part for fit the build platform... a print setup tool for this would be useful.
I don't know if this would function in a print utility (one time profile based printer setups) or feature based like "flat pattern".
Please add your own thoughts. This is one I needed this weekend, and it wasn't there (yet).
