3D weld in creo models

Hi,

I have few questions related to 3D weld creation. How to create 3D weld s in creo 2? Do we have that capability? It good to have that capability for visibility of space for welds as well as it will help downstream users like FEA and manufacturing for various reasons.

Hi Rosema,

I am not sure what is procedure of followup in PTC. Just thought of proposing as I am less aware about progress on solid 3D welds creation in Creo. This is one of the good improvement that can be done. I am sure there might be some progress about this in PTC already.

This functionality exist. In your assembly, go to the applications tab, then WELDING.

I believe this Welding feature is created as a surface than a realistic weld; for representation only, but may not be used for FEA.
