Ability to cancel commands

Ability to cancel commands

One mis-click can sometimes end up wasting a lot of time.

I've had instances where I've misclicked and ended up wasting 30 minutes waiting fo a command I didn't mean to run finish.

You mean: make the cancel button work immediately instead of finishing the command and then backtracking it

Yes, exactly!    Most of the time that icon isn't even there.

Just today I hit Expand All instead of Collapse All on a 2,700 part assembly, after furiously hitting the ESC key I went to lunch.

(You would think after 6 months with Creo I'd know that it doesn't do anything, habits are hard to break)

Does this mean the esc key really escapes? You have my vote!

Another duplicate?  Use ESC to cancel

Thanks, Dale

Thanks again Dale Rosema‌ - This has been marked duplicate and the voting is still open here: Use ESC to cancel - there are more votes there too
