Ability to create mass properties analysis with selected components

It would be nice and effective if user can get the mass properties analysis for selected components or can exclude certain undesirable components from mass properties analysis.

When we design a part by top down design method, there are certain parts that we have placed for references, for creating the newly desinged components. Now we need quickly to see the mass properties only of newly created design. I know there can be several way like restructure and all, but analysis with selected componenets will be a faster and effective way to compleish the goal.
