Yes, since I can change the name of a dimension and any relation that uses it is updated with the new name, I would think that the same would be true for parameters I define. Maybe it's because the parameter name is the only means of referencing the value, whereas for a dimension the "name" is just a label that is available for users, but the dimension also has an internal ID?
