Ability to restrict detail view name letters

Ability to restrict detail view name letters

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.
Aerospace. CAD PLM Admin

Thousands of engineers making drawings

2. What version of Creo Parametric are you currently running?
6.0.4.0

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.

Currently Creo has this detail option:

default_detail_view_name_style
letter—Assigns the next available Latin alphabet letter to the new detailed view
roman—Assigns the next available uppercase Roman numeral to the new detailed view

Please add an additional option where certain letters would not be used. Creo would then skip that letter and then assign the next available Latin alphabet letter to the new detailed view.

For example, for this new config option, letters I, O, Q, S, X, and Z would be assigned. These letters would be skipped for new detail view letters.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
Adhere to ASME Y14.3 Orthographic and pictorial views, section 6.3

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
Prevent errors and confusion in drawing creation and interpretation

I don't have the latest Y14.3. Can you post just section 6.3 for reference?
