For example you have a solid model and you give some dimensions on solid model surface at drawing with dimension tool. Then you offset one surface so your used edge disappear correctly but dimension does not change or give an warning. But if you move this surface with flexible modeling, dimension is changed. Customers think dimensions must be changed with offset feature too.
