Activate and De-Activate part in assembly from pull down menu

I wish new idea post would be easier and simpler to do 😞

One of the reasons they ask for "extra" information is to understand your problem and what you are trying to accomplish. I also helps other forum members understand which will get your idea more votes.

While working in an assembly, I can RMB on a part and activate it. I "deactivate" it by Activating the top level assy.

I added the "activate" to the quick access toolbar for "quick access".

I get that but

why we have to deactivate on top level not in the same place it means if you can activate part from this menu WHY you can not deactivate from this menu? 🤔

That's valid.

To me that's an extra step from my process (select the part first to get the activate/de-activate menu to pop up) but would be consistent from a workflow perspective.

Activate is always available using the quick access toolbar (provided you have it turned on)

Or click CTRL+A on keyboard to deactivate part/activate main assembly.
