Creo Parametric has a feature to display section view of a model. Unfortunately Toolkit doesn't have a robust methods to extract section properties (plane, offset, colors, cap, ...)
It would be great to have such methods.
In our addin "FloEFD for Creo" we have a functionality to create different kind ofimages. User have a possibility to include model into a generated image. It is sad that if a model is displayed sectioned in Creo Parametric then we can't render it sectioned. So for the user "what you see is what you get" principle is not satisfied. With our new "Compare Tool" feature it is expected to be much more obvious for those users who like section views.
Other CAD tools (like Solidworks and NX) have such an API.
