Add Fonts that are really "Filled" to options for text in models

Add Fonts that are really "Filled" to options for text in models

When adding text to a part in Creo the Fonts are displayed as outlines not filled. For laser marking of batch and part number idetification, the image has to appear on the print and the model exactly as it should be applied to the part. It must be a solid filled font.  There is no way to do this currently so we have to add a note on the drawing that text must be filled.

Interesting that text sketches cannot be FILL'd (Surfaces)

However, you can Project text "loops" into a new sketch which -can- be filled as a surface.

I agree though; text sketches should not be limited.  It should be treated as any other curve along with their unique text properties.

I've always made silkscreens solid features because sketches would get in the way on drawings.  Sure is a CPU workout though.

If possible PTC R&D Team should be so kind and implement some parameter yes/no to change this behavior of Sketcher, but perhaps as result also other filled areas e.g. like circles or rectangles will be filled also.

But other idea can be just checkbox option under context menu for each sketch when user can activate FILL YES/NO - what do you tkink?
