WHen you do a merge or inheritance feature in a part, you can right click on that feature and select "Open Base" to open the source model. The same should be available for Copy Geometry and other data sharing features.
Im not sure if this has been fixed in Creo6 but as a Creo5 user, Im using CG's and EM's all the time.
Ive created my own mapkey to be able to rmb "open base". It works quite well but I just dont understand why PTC doesnt offer this functionality themselves!
If anyone is interested how the mapkey works I can share the DOS script code.
