When designing using a multibody approach, sometimes we are designing bodies that get visually obstructed by larger bodies. We could hide the obstructing body, to visualize the "internal bodies", but sometimes we need to quickly switch between hiding and showing the larger body, or we might need to visualize it, but nevertheless do not consider that larger body for any modeling operarions, but its geometry gets always in the way, having to constantly query select to select the smaller internal bodies. Since each project can have any number of bodies, and with any name, it's not easy to create a mapkey to achieve this goal. So, I suggest that at least the construction bodies (and eventally all of them) should have an attribute or an assigned parameter that classifies them as "Visualization only" to avoid letting them to be selected, even though that are displayed. This would tipically be displayed in a light transparent shaded mode, or even only in wireframe mode. In the 2D drawings, they should not be displayed as solid objects, nor appear in XSections, but in solid, phantom or dashed line style. A quick button should be provided on the user interface (for which we could add a mapkey) to quickly activate the "Visualization Only" status of those bodies, to quickly select their geometry when needed.
Thank you.
