When a datumplane are created, there often is that you have to change the defenition of it afterwards, this is working very well in Creo.
But if the datumplane are used in for example an "dimension pattern" the placement tab is removed when using edit defenition on the datum plane. This should be added so there is no need to change the reference manually or by deleting the pattern, change the reference and then recreate the pattern.
