Publish geom features cannot be hidden - either by layer or by the hide command - and having them present makes selecting anything difficult. In fact, they are the first things in the section list. Rarely do I need to select a publish geom when working on a model, but I have to RMB toggle past them to do any work.

Please let us layer them off and hide them so we can get our work done.

totally agree, and if you have multiple PubGeoms, say 15 for 15 different children/parts,you have to RMB cycle through all the PG's first before being able to highlight the features to find the one you want.

This is compounded when you miss the feature you want and have to start at the beginning again for a total of 30 RMB clicks or more.
