If a feature (extrude,revolve,etc) is made from an existing sketch, there is no access to that sketch from the feature's dashboard. The only options are to either unlink the sketch to redefine it or to cancel the feature redefine (and possibly loose any changes made) and then go back to redefine the sketch.
A mechanism for redefining external sketches would be beneficial.
