Current functionality is for the program to ABORT when trying to replace a component by program when the component was placed using component interface but component interface is not in the interchange assembly. All the references which are used in the component interface are in the interchange assembly. You can manually replace the component by interchange, you are just presented with a dialog box that says: "Component Interface missing, continuing placement will cause interface to be removed" "Yes or No" If you select Yes the component is replaced just fine with ALL references in place. I have many library components that don't yet have interfaces defined. I have started adding interfaces to library components to take advantage of them, so users are using them. It is VERY frustrating to users when the program regeneration ABORTS, they lose previous work.
Please provide an option to allow the components to be replaced by program without aborting.
