Currently, the mass properties file is unusable in a spreadsheet. The format is limited to a width which does not allow enough space for all of the columns. This causes the columns to wrap and the data in the rows is then wrapped making the content impossible to parse.
Unfortunately, the Mass Properties file is the only place that reports the placement of components IN ASSEMBLY COORDINATES. Reading this file is a crucial step in getting the component position information into downstream systems such as Windchill.
Here are some other features it would helpful to have as well:
Ability to select the csys from which all of the COGs are calculated.
Ability to choose the units.
Include all models. (Currently 0 mass models are excluded as well as others)
PTC, please allow the configuration of the mass properties file and a .csv export option, so that it can be used in spreadsheet programs and so that your own product, Windchill, can read it.
