Allow "Edit Camera" to save camera settings so they can be reloaded

Edit Camera saves view settings, but they are not persistent between sessions. It would be helpful to have a way to have some camera settings saved between sessions so that similar parts can be viewed identically between sessions.

Hi Peter try it with

  (ui::uic-save-cameras "C:/tmp/osdm_cameras.m")

and

  (ui::uic-load-cameras "C:/tmp/osdm_cameras.m")

"C:/tmp/osdm_cameras" is only a example for “Filename”.

But why you don't use the configurations, that will be saved with the model.

Thanks for the tip on saving cameras; I'll give it a try.

Configurations do work for saving cameras, but have a limitations that limit their use. We use Model Manager, and in our implementation only one person is allowed make changes to a part or assembly at a time. It would be very disruptive to the design process if we have to continually pass this permission around to the 30+ engineers working on a project just so they can each add a configuration to the project. Saving that information locally avoids this issue. It also keeps the number of configurations at a more manageable number.

Hello Peter,

in the german Forum was a similar theme.
