Presently the cross for the grid points is seven pixels. This can make text and symbols difficult to see, unless they are large or turned off.
Most monitors (LCD) can show a single pixel clearly so that size cross is no longer needed for visibility. Allow a setting that sets the number of pixels for the cross.
Example of the difference in readability for 7 pixel grid points and 1 pixel grid points.
Some laptops have small enough pixels that they may be difficult to see with 1 pixel points. 3 pixels should be visible and still less obstructive of the design.
