Annotation's print preview does little more than change the color of the viewport. At a minimum it should work more like the Drafting print preview, which shows how the drawing fits on the paper as you adjust portrait/landscape, paper size, fit/scale, etc. It might also be cool to show multiple sheets in the preview - perhaps as a full screen of tiled images showing all sheets, perhaps as a separate window similar to Drafting's, but with the ability to cycle/scroll through the sheets.
