This is a follow up to Article - CS179417. Currently (through Creo 7) when the user selects the "Show Model Annotations" in MBD annotations (dimensions) appear on the screen. The user can not select these dimensions if the Annotation Display toggle is turned off however.
This leads to user frustration. The user is given no feedback as to why the dimensions can't be selected.
The idea is to either:
1. Allow the user to select the annotations / dimensions even if the toggle is turned off and then have them disappear upon the next screen refresh
2. Have a pop up warning notice that suggests the user turn on the Annotation Display toggle so that the dimensions can be selected.
