Auto new line in Relations when opening

If I open up the relations dialog box and click on a feature and then a dimension it puts the dimension variable at the end of the end of the last line. This doesn't make any sense. The last line is usually a complete relation. For the specific case of immediately after opening the relations dialog box, the curser should jump to a new line.

Instead of this:

It should be this:
