Quite often we generate family table instances of parts which are similar except some dimensions or features. To generate (separate) drawings for each instance we usually generate one nice looking drawing of the generic (or some other instance).
Then we save this drawing as copy under the name of one of the other instances, open the copied drawing and replace the model by the other instance. After the drawing has been saved again we have generated this way a copy of the original drawing for another instance.
Because this procedure could be fully automatic I propose PTC to offer a software function in Creo Parametric, that allows based from any instance (or the generic) drawing to generate an instance drawing of any other instance (or the generic) of the same family table automatically.
