According to SPR 1956247 and behavior that we've seen, datum axis display can no longer be shown in a drawing in Creo 3. According to support, this was causing performance and visibility issues with many customers. They recommend to just use SHOW MODEL ANNOTATIONS.

My product improvement idea is to at least make this a little more consistent:

  • In the View Ribbon, they should remove the axis display button and axis tag display button
  • In the Display bar, they should remove the axis button display and from the All datums display button.
