Since the introduction of Creo Parametric, the 'simple sweep' feature has been removed and instead,
the Variable Section Sweep should be used.
With the simple sweep feature, the sketches for trajectory and profile were 'embedded' and even datum points
and datum planes were embedded resulting in only 1 feature.
This one feature could be patterned with 'variable' or sometimes 'identical' option.
We use the simple sweep (cut) for large hole patterns.
If we would use Creo parametric and the Var Sec Sweep command to create these holes, it would
always result in a Group and a group pattern always behaves as 'General'.
Conclusion: we cannot upgrade to Creo Parametric because some of our hole patterns can be a FACTOR 20 slower
