CS296403 Cannot exclude features for Sheetmetal Flat Pattern Simplified Representations

CS296403 Cannot exclude features for Sheetmetal Flat Pattern Simplified Representations

Using the family table flat pattern the user was able to exclude selected part features from the flat pattern instance.

This was useful for removing features that depicted post fold operations or items like representations of sheet-metal fasteners. (PEM Studs ect)

The Sheetmetal Flat Pattern Simplified Representation can not have features added to it. Attempting to do so generates "Cannot exclude features for Sheetmetal Flat Pattern Simplified Representations"

There is a workaround to create an unbend and a bend back feature at the end of the model tree. Then create a manual simplified rep that excluded the bend back feature and the surface feature. It is additional work and is not exactly the same thing as using the flat pattern feature. Since the flat pattern feature is a special feature it has some additional options and also must remain the last feature in the model tree. That being the case any additional features added after the simplified rep is created would automatically be before the flat pattern feature. However when using the unbend and bend back you need to use insert mode to place the features before the unbend feature. Not ideal.

It would be appreciated if the Sheetmetal Flat Pattern Simplified Representation could be edited to have part features removed from it.
