CURVE_COLOR - Define a new mapping for 3D curves in table.pnt

Today, it is not possible to map a 3D curves on another pen than pen #1.

We need to assign 3D curves to another pen (eg. Pen # 6 corresponding to the sketched curves).

Several types of lines are already assigned to the pen #1 (among other custom colors and 3D curve). This has the effect of poor quality of prints. Edges and curves are not differentiated.

just info from the past ...

In 2009 in ProE Wildfire 4.0, I was able to use the keyword curve_color inside pentable file. I guess that in ProE Wildfire 5.0, it also worked.

Hi Martin,

I have mapped curve_color on pen6 and it (still) works in Creo2.

PTC Hotline say that it is not supported … and the documentation doesn’t mention the curve_color since Wildfire.
