With the varying mass properties reported in sheetmetal due to forms or arbitrary bend allowance settings, sheetmetal mass properties, specifically volume and sub-categories, should report the mass properties of the flat pattern with flattened forms.
If the flat pattern feature exists, which is always the last feature, the either new mass property variables are created or existing ones are used to determine the actual mass properties of volume and mass. This will make up for the fact that Creo does not compensate stretched material in the forming operation, and will forever clear up the discrepancies between flat pattern and formed mass properties. For some, this is critical information and should be part of the core product rather than a user created function.
This relatively simple request should bring Creo into the fold of other systems and remove the ambiguity and inaccuracy described by many users.
