Yes, it is yet another obvious functionality that's missing from Creo. Currently the only way you offer to focus on a part is to unclick the spin center button and press on something with middle mouse button.
Awkward and unwieldy is an understatement for this function. if you click just off the part or any entity, you're spinning in space, lost in universe.
Why not do what has already been done for years and workes perfectly - a "look at" function. I.e. simply pick an object, press a "look at" button or hotkey combination, and program instantly zooms in on the object making it a center of your screen. Now you can spin around it all day, never in danger of clicking off it and lost in space.
This is one of those things that seems small, but in reality is HUGE and would immediately improve ease of use and productivity.
