On delete confirmation popup change default action to "Ok". This allows use of enter from keyboard when deleting especially multiple items. Same behavior preferred to be on every similar situation. It should be confirmation always, not reconsider.
I prefer that the Cancel be the default behaviour. We are not always deleting unwanted things to have to automate or speed-up that process, but we can more easily press the delete key accidentily and be one step closer to confirm it instead of canceling it. What I would like to be done instead, is that the default in delete children from a feature to be automatically selected as "Suspend" instead of "Delete" Every time I need to delete a feature that has children, I see myself always being careful to select the "Suspend" option and manually Delete the children features if they need indeed to be deleted.
@S_Edgenear, I agree with the suspend default preference. Also, one helpful hint that many don't seem to realize is that you can use Ctrl+A to select all children then RMB and select Suspend to suspend all children.
