Conflicts Window in Creo - Display “State” column

Conflicts Window in Creo - Display “State” column

Display “State” column in conflicts window to assist the user in making the right choice.

Whe need to have more columns in the window -> Version, Description, or custom IBA.

Actions on State column in conflicts window:

Different cascade actions are often necessary. Actions like :

1. For «Released» objects that we need to modify (example: move dim in drw), being able to do a Set state “Minor modification” and “Check out”.

2. For a read only object being able to do an “Unlock and Continue”

for 3D models, Adding also columns with the owner WTPart (Article) infos and a check box to be able to specify if the action (notably revise) have to also be applied to the related WTPart.

This should also work for the uwgm conflict window that pops up when saving from Creo Elements Direct/Modeling or Creo Elements Direct/Drafting.

This table should behave like any other table in Windchill (sort, group, add more columns and views, ...)

If a user wants to decide what to do, the state might be an indication.

If possible, the suggested action should even be initiated by some rules:

eg: if it's in work -> suggest to check out

in released or obsolete -> suggest to revise.

this could be based on wheter or not you have modify rights in that particular state.

It will help lots of poeple if we can add a cullunm with WT_ASSOCIATED_PART_NAME please

Because conflict windows ask choice for numbers and it's impossible to know each numbers and his name of part (especially when there are 20 asking in the same conflict window)

Hello,

Is there some progress on this subject to be expected?

As soon as auto numbering is used, other columns increase of importance when it comes to recognizing the objects working with. For me this  it is a basic functionality to add more information than only a number.
