Convert projected / intersected curve into any curve types!!

Convert projected / intersected curve into any curve types!!

Ok, so one of the most glaring limitations of Creo 2.0 is the inability to take a projected, interesected, or imported curve and simply convert into a fully editable construction curve.  Coming from Autodesk, being denied this basic function is like working with one hand tied behind your back.

Guys, can you please make this happen in your next Creo release.  Its just common sense, and incredibly productive.  Can  you please add the ability to convert any intersected, projected, or imported curve into a fully editable curve you can build surfaces with.  No copy/paste/options nonsense - just a plain convert or duplicate/convert function that creates a new curve.

I suppose you are looking for something different than the "curve from xxxx" feature in the style module?

Yes Eric, actually something very similar to "curve from datum" in style module.  The painful part is that you have to mess around with entering/exiting style module to do that, and the resulting curve is  a style curve, vs. doing it in sketcher.  Of course the fundamental issue here is the fact that there is a style modue to begin with.  I've already posted this as a new feature improvement here few months ago, to eliminate style module altogether and simply integrate it into regular environment.  The whole style thing is like a micro-evolution of the rest of Creo 2, it does not make sense.  A curve should be universal and flexible, able to do anything and transform into anything without any extra modules.
