You can copy dimension properties from one dimension to another, but the dialog the dialog breaks up the properties into 6 groups and if you need to copy all except the dimension value, you have to select 5 check boxes. There should be an option to copy "All but dimension value", which would check "Tolerance Types and Values", "Precision and Format", "All Fix Texts", "Text Properties", and "Arrow and Line Properties".
