I don't understand why translation and rotation operations are so unknown by users... maybe it's cause they are not easy to find in Creo or Pro/E
1/ first who have to copy before translate and the defaut result hide the original surface. Is it a copy ? If you want to show and leave the original surface you need to redefinied the paste special and clic an option.
2/ Why don't add a simple icone for translation and rotation like in Flexible modeling extension .
3/ Change the name of these feature in the model tree in order to better understand that's a translation or rotate.
No other CAd software have these kind of feature. They all use a simple translate / Rotate operation easily to find and use.
