Create Features out of Patterned Sketches

We are unable to create features out of a sketch resulting from a pattern.

To reproduce this issue, try the following:

1. Create a Sketch in any part
2. Create a Pattern from that Sketch
3. Try to use one of the resulting sketches to create a feature (ex. Extrude, Copy...)

PTC says it's a current functionality (C11068317).

Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, there is a work around to "unpattern" a pattern. Though I think you have to group it first in Creo 2 before it will let you unpattern. This just turns it into individual, independent sketches which may or may not be what you need. The idea still has merit as you might want to vary each sketch's feature but maintain the sketch pattern properties.
