Create a Config option that control the Sort By in the File Open menu

There are options under Tools>Sort By: Model Name and Markup/Instance Name.

I would like there to be a config option to control which option to choose by default. The reason is that if you have multiple family tables, the default sort behavior is first by Generic name and then by instance name. The default sort will look like this:

SR-6-32-1<SCREW_FLAT_HEAD>

SR-6-32-3<SCREW_FLAT_HEAD>

SR-6-32-2<SCREW_PAN_HEAD>

SR-6-32-4<SCREW_PAN_HEAD>

The default sort, should be:

SR-6-32-1<SCREW_FLAT_HEAD>

SR-6-32-2<SCREW_PAN_HEAD>

SR-6-32-3<SCREW_FLAT_HEAD>

SR-6-32-4<SCREW_PAN_HEAD>

This can be accomplished by Tools>Sort By>Markup/Instance Name, but it doesn't have a config option.

We have engineers who like to scroll and expect it to be in order, when it isn't.

There is a hidden config option "Improved_Sorting" but I cannot locate the option values.  I tried "improved_sorting yes" and it did not make a difference.  If anyone knows what this options controls would be appreciated.  I searched to no avail.

That option is not related to the proposal.  It is for a specific use case, and probably should have been named something less generic-sounding, even though it is hidden.
