If you do not use the configuration option "mdl_tree_cfg_file" the model tree for every window opened only shows out of box PTC settings. I would like to be able to make changes to the filters & columns in one window and those changes be applied to all existing & new windows. Without creating a tree.cfg file, setting the configuration option to look at that file and having to restart Creo for it to apply.

For those that do use the configuration option "mdl_tree_cfg_file", you can create a new tree.cfg file (it can have a different name). Change your session configuration to look at the new file and all new windows opened will utilize the new settings.
