Creating Curves with a Point in EXTRUDE, SWEEP, etc. Sections

You can create solids or surfaces with many 3D commands including extrude, revolve, sweep, etc...

Often times we create sweep edges using a surface as temporary geometry.

Why not allow a geometry point in a section to create a curve feature directly if no other geomtery exists in the section?
