Is it possible to have an associative detail dreived from existing geometry? It would be very usefull to have such a functionality!

This a great 'Idea' (enhancement), particularly as the detail view is flagged as 'shared'.
This is an issue that was also raised many years ago. It would be a great addition, but i also believe it should be an 'expected' addition.
