Creo Elements/Direct Import of Native Creo Parametric ".drw" files

@BY David Regan: I was wondering if Creo Elements/Direct had the ability to open and modify native drawing ".drw" files created in Creo Parametric. If they can not open these drawing files, is there a possible alternative for being able to edit drawings in both programs?

Creo Parametric and Creo Elements Direct (=SolidDesigner, Annotation, ME10) have a completely different use model for drawings.

So what is the intended use model?

It would be helpful for information to be capable to open .drw's either in Modeling or in Drafting.
