FEM calculations should provide more valid results in earlier development phases of a component than with sharp-edged models. For this purpose, it is necessary to completely round incompletely modelled packages. This should be done automatically with the AutoRound function, since there is no possibility for manual modeling of these roundings.
The AutoRound function of the PTC in Creo Parametric (Ver. 4.0 Mxxx) does not meet expectations.
