Creo assembly scale functionality

Creo assembly scale functionality

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.
I am Kamlesh and I am a Mechanical Engineer working as a technical support engineer in GMMSPL for PTC Creo

2. What version of Creo Parametric are you currently running?
Creo 9.0.1.0

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.

In creo we have the scale model/part functionality and if possible we would like to have the scale option for the assembly file.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
For similar family of part, with this functionality we can explore result within time.

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
Time-saving

I can't believe this doesn't work in Creo as it works in SolidWorks, Catia, etc.

Please add the functionality to rescale all objects in an assembly so users don't need to rescale objects one by one.

Enable the ability to scale an entire assembly like other modeling programs can.

Currently users are forced to scale each component separately.

Please fix this shortcoming.

For conceptual re-use, we often need a quick scaled version of an existing assembly.  This would require scaling all parts, assembly features, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.  Current behavior requires the user to open every single part, sub-assembly and the top assembly to manually change the scale.  This would be a huge time saver on large assemblies.

NOTE:  Relations can make this challenging since there is no way to know the proper way to scale numbers and/or angular values found in relations.  If the scale routine identified parts with relations that might be affected by scaling, this would be also be helpful.
