Seems like this should be an SPR, not an enhancement. Did you contact PTC?

I just checked with support.  Here is the response:

This is working as per current limitations of application. It was reported to R&D as SPR which was converted to enhancement. As of now there is no change in that.

Don't get your hopes up though.  This was reported back in 2003 in Wildfire(1).

Yes Joseph, I did. They were the ones that told me to fill out a Product Idea.

I hate when they do that. They create feature A and feature B. When feature A doesn't work with feature B, they call it an enhancement to get it to work. It happens all the time with me. They don't really make sure their new features work across the board with all of their current features first.

So... any updates on this topic?  I just ran into exactly the same problem, where the outline of the cut-out geometry has not updated based on Varied Items dimensions.  I need to hide the Cut Out geometry, but cannot seem to find the way.
